The route of the Barranco de Cernícalos in Telde is like leaving the dry Gran Canaria behind and entering a green forest alive with water and freshness. Being enclosed in a mini forest, it gives you the feeling that you are in another place completely, which is ideal to discount with the family.
The route has several levels depending on how far we want to go. The easiest is up to the double waterfall as far as everyone goes.
To the left of the double waterfall, there is a rope to help us climb, this section we will enjoy a small detour with a waterfall at the end of a narrow gorge (do not miss it) and a waterfall at the foot of a very high canyon or defile. This section is MODERATE.
Notice that it is not recommended to do the route if it has rained, since as it is a forest, all the ground becomes quite slippery
